The first foal of 2007 arrives...
It's a BOY! The first foal of 2007 arrived at Creek Side on January 22nd. Creek Side Sammy, a stud colt by L & C Titan x Creek Side Nina. We have high expectations for this little fellow, he is a very fancy and well-bred colt.

...and he delivers! Creek Side Sammy was crowned Champion Stallion at the 2007 Manitoba Belgian Show as a weanling!
Nina comes home...
Creek Side Nina was purchased by the Hunters in 2002 at the NAERIC Draft Horse Classic Sale held at Agribition in Regina, Saskatchewan. In her 2 yr old year, the Hunters approached us about taking her back to the futurity, and our partnership with them began. Nina placed first under all three judges in each of the three divisions: halter, rail and pattern, making history as the first horse in the futurity to accomplish such a task. In 2005, Nina was sold to Brillinger Farms, Ontario where they used her in the wheel of their hitch. She was bred to their herdsire, L & C Titan in 2006. We decided to purchase Nina back at the Brillinger's dispersal sale in the fall of 2006. She will foal early in 2007 and we are looking forward to her foal by Titan, and her own contribution as a broodmare to our breeding program.
